Cardiovascular medicine has always been at the forefront of my mind as one of the specialities which I want to delve into. I have always found it interesting and done extra reading whenever it came up in the curriculum. I would love to be able to contribute to the society as the role of a treasurer, being able to put to use the mathematical and analytical skills I have developed to perform effective budgeting and financial planning. I will be clear and effective in my communication, clearly documenting records of spending and optimising the society's budget to provide the best conferences and workshops whilst still being affordable. I will also be open to feedback at every step of the process.
