Lowri Morris

Hi, I’m Lowri and I’m super excited to have the opportunity to run for PathSoc president! Being part of the committee – acting as treasurer and publicity officer – has been the highlight of my year, and I’d love to be able to contribute more to this amazing society. I, like all members of this society, find the field of pathology to be endlessly fascinating, and I’d love to be able to show other students just how exciting it can be!

As president, I plan to:

• Continue the incredible work that Joy and Allis have done this year, including continuing all the new events they’ve introduced

• Introduce termly member socials to increase engagement and membership

• Introduce termly committee socials, alongside at least one committee social a year with KCL and UCL

• Deliver pathology teaching sessions throughout the year, booking rooms and teachers earlier in the year to avoid conflicts and ensure consistency

• Collaborate with other societies to improve publicity

• Secure subsidised conference tickets, as well as sponsorships, which will be used to improve event attendance

I would be so grateful to be voted your next pathology president and to have the opportunity to work closely with our new committee to continue growing and improving PathSoc.
