Nilani Nithiyananthan

Hi! My name is Nilani, and I would love to be your treasurer for ICU's PHEM society!

As treasurer, I will bring my experience and dedication to ensure the smooth financial management of the society. Having previously been Liaison Officer for the society, where I organised allocations for the trauma placement programme, I am familiar with the society's aims and operations, and I hope to continue and progress that in my role. Moreover, my previous experience as Treasurer for another society, as well as other roles as Secretary and Sponsorship Officer, have equipped me with a strong foundation in financial management, event planning and collaborative teamwork to support the society's growth.

My aims:

• Create a clear and efficient budgeting plan, ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately to each event and initiative to maximise our resources and enable our society to run a diverse range of events.
• Write thorough risk assessments for each event, ensuring they are planned and executed safely and smoothly
• Support the committee and contributing to the overall success of the society by working closely with my fellow committee members and offering help and advice wherever needed
