Aaron Sanjeevan
Hello everyone, my name is Aaron, I’m in third year and I would love to help bring the next annual Cardiovascular Conference to life as one of the conference chairs!
I first realised my passion for Cardiology during sixth form, and this grew substantially in pre-clinical years following a stimulating placement I undertook at Ealing Hospital, where I was able to network and closely work with leading Cardiologists. These experiences have fuelled my desire to further endorse this specialty, and through extensive collaboration with my co-chair and team, I hope to utilise this privileged role to offer an exciting range of talks and workshops from world-class professionals in the field. My strong networking, communication and organisational skills have been instrumental in the successes of such events I’ve helped facilitate in the past, including a conference recently held by another society. I particularly thrive in team settings, and if elected, I look forward to contributing my own ideas, notably a workshop solely dedicated to the fundamentals of Cardiovascular research, whilst also welcoming and assisting with the cultivation of ideas shared by my fellow colleagues.
Overall, as your conference chair, I will endeavour to produce an event that is insightful, highly informative and undoubtedly enjoyable for all attendees. Thank you for reading my manifesto :)
