Molly Popplewell

Dear ICSM Obs and Gynae Members,

I am excited to be applying for the role of Publicity Officer for the upcoming year. After following the society for the past two years at Imperial and attending the conference this year, I’ve developed a strong desire to join the committee and contribute my creative energy to something that has such a positive influence on my passion for medicine. I believe that having the opportunity to combine interest with dedication, organization, teamwork is essential for success but also a privilege that I do not take lightly.

In sixth form, I ran two societies where I managed advertising, communications, and Instagram accounts. These experiences taught me how to captivate an audience and think outside the box. Later, I honed my digital art skills to create engaging diagrams and presentations for research projects, and even managed content for an artist and a kids’ surfing club during the summer.

I’m driven by the fact that this society represents how women and girls health is consistently underappreciated and what has encouraged this goal of mine, whether it be through success this year or the years to come. And I truly believe that I can thrive in role as publicity officer and continue the engaging work of previous members before me.
