Joshini Jeyaprakash

Hi I’m Joshini, a third year medical student!

After being a part of the Paediatrics Conference subcommittee, I saw how supportive and welcoming this society is, and I would love the opportunity to contribute further as Treasurer. As part of the Conference Subcommittee, my main role was budgeting and sponsorship coordination, which I have gained some valuable insights into. I also have experience in event organisation through my roles in Oncology Society and SORA. These experiences have given me transferable skills which will be helpful in my role as treasurer. Managing finances is an important part of running a society and I will ensure that I keep an updated track of expenses and budget, work with the sponsorship officer to find sponsors and regularly provide updates to the society members on available funds.
