Hello! I’m Fayowa and I would like to be your Volunteer Coordinator next year!

I look forward to Playteam every week, where I have described each session as being the highlight of my week. Spending time with the children and their families has been an incredible privilege, where I have left each session feeling uplifted and joyful. Seeing the children laughing and having fun puts a smile on my face. I would love to be part of the team who continue to ensure that Playteam is run as smoothly as possible.

Previously, I was part of a team of 3, who organized and ordered the leavers hoodies for our year group. In this, we were responsible for finding the right company with ideal prices and quality, creating a quiz for designing the hoodie and keeping on top of the emails with the company to ensure everything was sorted in good time. As the Volunteer Coordinator encompasses a similar role of ordering and organizing the polos scheme, I believe I am equipped with the right skills needed for the role.

I hope I can be a valuable team member, working with the Play Team Chairs and the whole committee to continue to establish the fun and lively environment Playteam brings. Thank you!
