I am running for Imperial Oncology Society Conference Chair because oncology has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Cancer is a constantly evolving challenge, pushing the boundaries of medicine, and I’ve always been drawn to both its surgical and therapeutic frontiers, from novel biomarkers to intraperitoneal chemotherapy.
This passion has led me to explore oncology research first-hand—working on genomic biomarkers predicting lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer, investigating how chemotherapeutic agents propagate AMR, and applying radiomics to multiphasic HCC imaging. Research should be accessible to everyone, and as Conference Chair, I want to empower members with opportunities to present, publish, and engage with leading experts.
I’ve loved creating new opportunities, whether as Head Boy, working within a team to drive initiatives, or as part of multiple conference committees and subcommittees like SORA. Having worked across various types of oncology research, I understand the weight and impact of each—from clinical to translational to computational. A SORA x Onco Soc collaboration would bridge academia and clinical exposure, ensuring members gain real-world research experience.
Already on the Onco Soc subcommittee, I’ve helped organize tutorials and the National Oncology Conference. Now, I want to take our conferences to the next level—more CPD-accredited events, hands-on workshops, and real clinical exposure. Whether it’s through research, networking, or skills development, I want to make Onco Soc the strongest it’s ever been, setting new standards for engagement and impact.
