Abigail Tan

Hi, I am Abigail Tan and I am running for OncoSoc conference officer! I am interested in oncology, having had family members who suffered from various forms of cancer.

Having been Vice President for iPRAS and HaemSoc and Head of Media for Cardiovascular Society this year, I am familiar with the workings behind running a society and have gained invaluable leadership skills. Having coordinated, prepared and troubleshooted for more than 7 conferences, I have learnt a lot in terms of coordination Skills and I am ready to take this challenge of organising a conference. Especially when I have experience with procuring materials for various surgery workshops, from suturing to microsurgery to burns debridement to melanoma excision. Hence, I would be glad to transfer these skills as conference chair. Please vote for me, Abigail Tan!
