Rahul Pai
Hi, I’m Rahul, a 2nd-year medical student, and I’m excited to run for Sponsorship Officer for the upcoming year. Through my studies and experiences so far, I’ve developed a strong interest in ophthalmology, and joining the committee would give me the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into the field while contributing to its growth.
My manifesto is built around three key principles:
Engagement– It's not just about securing sponsors, but also building lasting relationships with them. I will keep our sponsors engaged through regular communication and personalized updates, ensuring they remain invested in the society’s progress.
Diversification – Relying on one sponsor can limit opportunities. I plan to approach a variety of organizations to create a diverse sponsorship portfolio, ensuring we have the resources needed for growth.
Partnership – Establishing strong partnerships with organizations, particularly in healthcare, is key to the society’s development. I aim to create mutually beneficial collaborations that will bring value to both the society and its sponsors.
I’m excited about the opportunity to bring my communication skills and persistence to this role. I’m eager to help the committee and look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the Ophthalmology Society.
