Sanjeev Singh

My name is Sanjeev Singh, and I am a second year student with a strong passion for clothing, fashion and style.

If elected in this role, I would strive to create new, inspiring pieces of ChemEngSoc merchandise for the members to wear with pride. It is my goal to ensure that ChemEngSoc is seen by all as the best dressed society. The members should be able to wear merchandise that makes them proud to be a part of ChemEngSoc.

I firmly believe that I possess the relevant skill set and experience to undertake this role with great success. Over the past couple of months I was a part of the external relations sub-committee in which I was tasked with contacting and reaching out to various companies. I believe this experience can be transferred over to the Regalia Officer role when in regard to contacting suppliers and manufactures to develop merchandise. Furthermore, I was the chair of the debating society at my high school. I competed and won various debate tournaments across the country. Engaging in these debates taught me three main things; the art of communication, negotiation and persuasion all of which are key skills which I believe will aid me to get the most out of this position.
