Hi, I’m Kirill, and I want to make the Investment Soc the top feeder into high finance.
As an active member and Events Subcommittee of the Investment Soc, I am very familiar with how it runs and what people want from it. As a Treasurer, I will help you get that offer, enjoy your time with us and not worry about ticket prices.
So what exactly am I offering?
• Efficiency: I will streamline the process of obtaining sponsorships contract and managing invoices with ICU, while attracting new sponsors, to fund as many high-impact events as I can with the affordable tickets.
• Education: Design educational lectures on applied finance, to help discover your passion and let you ace that technical interview by focussing on valuation, thesis building and case studies.
• Experience: Provide hands-on finance experience through paper portfolio management, how to write investment articles and become Seeking Alpha Analyst, and initiating Open Pitch Sessions.
• Enjoyment: I will work with the committee to budget for more events, like poker nights, where you can have fun with friends and industry guests.
Having internships in Equity Research and VC, budgeting for charity fundraiser, being Capital Compass Founder, completing 10+ finance MOOCs and being high school Investing society President – set me up well for the role like Treasurer. Not only will I ensure finances managed smoothly, but I will listen to your needs and bring a good mix of socials and opportunities for you.
