Hello, I’m Abichana, and I’m running to be your next Year 5 Representative!

General Practice is an incredible field because it offers a unique opportunity to engage with patients across all walks of life, manage a variety of conditions, and establish long-term relationships. I’m keen to get involved in the many GP soc initiatives that support and connect medical students, with a particular focus on enhancing the PACES teaching series to make it the one stop resource for medical students. Throughout medical school, I’ve taken on multiple coordination roles, including serving as Conference Chair for the Endocrinology Society and organising the annual conference for In2MedSchool. Additionally, as a Student Ambassador for iBSc Management, I developed strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills that I believe will help me excel as Year 5 Representative. I’m passionate about enhancing the medical student experience, and ensuring events and resources are the best they can be!
