I started dancing (properly) when I was 8 – mainly pursuing urban hip hop but also dabbled in freestyle, contemporary (my hamstrings hate this) and Zumba. Off late I have been learning jumpstyle by myself.
With a genuine passion for dance, I have performed in several previous dance shows in front of hundreds of people.
As one of the Drama lead at EMW this year, I am well aware of the system of intricate working and planning going behind it. Oh and crashing dance practice (yes you Sultaan) always helps, right?
Anyway, these experiences grant me the ability to judge dance critically and analyse performances on a more technical level. I hope to leverage this skillset to conduct Indian Soc Dance Workshops and strive for excellency at EMW.
