Hello everyone, I'm Rosi, a first year biochemsitry student passionate about social entrepreneurship in the biotech industry and the impact science can have to improve patients lifes by innovative therapies. As a Senior Events Manager I aim to create a space for exchange between creative minds to allow us as Imperial Entrepreneurs inspire ourselves by each other's ideas for start - ups with meaningful societal impact. Firstly, I want to enhance the team spirit and bonding by organising more internal events in a personal context to allow members to learn from each others knowledge and exchanging perspectives on events shaping markets and industries, for example in discussion and debate rounds combined with drink receptions and other bonding activities or the creation of a business review journal written and edited by our members which would inspire regular in - depth research of promising start - ups and exchange of perspectives. I also want to make the society a place where we can develop pracical skills for start - up management for instance by organsing professional leadership and rhetoric coachings as done by companies. I my opinion, talks with professionals form the industry often didn't give the opportunity to engage with their personal experience and challenges they grew through. That I want to change by creating close collaboration with firms to lead leadership skill training workshops and project initiation seminars open to our members. I want to make societal events more engaging to gain besides perspectives and inspiration also practical knowledge to break into entrepreneurship.
