Hi my name is Yesh and I would love to be your Ophthalmology Soc Research and Opportunities Officer next year!

One of the more unique specialties in medicine, I have grown an interest in Ophthalmology through personal experience and placements. I believe Ophthalmology Soc has potential to be one of the largest societies in ICSM and I would love to be a part of making this happen. It is important in such a niche specialty to show our members how they can progress their career and portfolio in Ophthalmology whilst also providing exclusive opportunities.

As research and opportunities officer I will:

• Facilitate Research Collaboration by connecting members with research opportunities and foster academic partnerships with other societies.
• Organise events such as online talks and in person workshops on how to grow research skills and learn about careers in ophthalmology.
• Support rest of committee in the fantastic work they do through the year, helping run events such as conference or teachings.

I am committed to supporting the great work of Ophthalmology Society in the upcoming year with integrity and responsibility, and together we can strengthen our society and grow it further.
