Hey everyone!

I’m Miklos, a second-year chemistry student, and I’m running for Industrial Relations Officer because I want to help make ChemSoc the best possible bridge between you and the industry. We all know how important it is to start making connections early, whether it’s for internships, placements, or just figuring out what career paths are out there. If elected, I’ll work hard to bring you more opportunities, insights, and industry links to make that process easier.

Here’s what I want to do:

• More industry partnerships – I’ll reach out to companies in pharma, energy, consulting, and beyond to bring more awareness to placement and internship opportunities.
• Improve career events – Company talks, networking sessions, and panels with alumni who’ve been in our shoes and can share real advice.
• Useful career resources – From CV tips to interview advice, I’ll work with peope in industry and alumni to give you the best support possible.
• Keeping you in the loop – Regular updates on job openings, industry trends, and upcoming events, so you never miss an opportunity.
