Hi everyone, my name's Aden and I'm running to be your Gazette Website and Blog Editor!

Over the last few months as the Gazette's Website officer, I've helped migrate the Gazette over to the ICSMSU website, integrating our blog posts, past editions and podcasts into a centralized page. Working alongside Sadhana, our fantastic editor-in-chief, we've established a weekly rota for new blog posts, giving students across the entire medical school opportunity to have their voice heard! We've also been working on the revived Gazette Podcast, the first episode of which we hope to release very soon!

My main aim for next year is to improve the efficiency of the website and podcast team! My hope is that our new fresher contributors, alongside a revitalised web team, can release once-monthly podcast episodes, increasing in frequency as we develop our editing skills further. If possible, I want to integrate the podcast admin within the Web team - my aim is that we can create video podcasts to be released on YouTube alongside audio on Spotify!

I would like to continue weekly blog posts, as well as reconfigure our website pages to become more accessible and aesthetic for our readers!

As Web and Blog Editor, I would train and ensure our officers are proficient with using Wordpress, as well as Podcast editing, as well as bonding together to create a lasting legacy for the Gazette!
