Hi my name is Yesh and I would love to be your SEMsoc treasurer next year!

A society that combines two of my great interests, sports and medicine, SEMsoc has huge potential to be one of the largest societies in ICSM and I would love to be a part of making this happen. I believe I have the necessary skills to be an excellent treasurer for SEMsoc, as I have embodied timely communication, pro-active problem solving and financial responsibility in my current roles as ICSM Orchestra Manager and Medics Hockey Kit and Sponsorship Officer.

As treasurer I will:

• Bolster finances through working with ICSMSU and Union, as well as working with the sponsorship officer to secure additional external financing, all in order to be able to subsidise any events or socials so that all members can access the great opportunities we will provide.
• Communicate finances with committee so that there is complete transparency, being there to remind committee on budgets and supporting the committee in their roles as well as encouraging suggestions to improve the way our society runs.
• Create a plan of action with manageable expectations and importance on allocating budget for the society calendar, resources spread logically, and work with committee and member input to identify where subsidisation is key.

I am committed to supporting the great work of SEMsoc in the upcoming year with integrity and responsibility, and together we can strengthen our society and grow it further.
