Hey everyone!
I’ve always been fascinated by O&G, but it was my interest in research that truly made me realize how much there is to explore in women’s health—an entire ocean of knowledge waiting to be uncovered. My placement in O&G solidified that passion, and when I came across this incredible society, I knew I had found a community I wanted to be part of.
As fifth years, we know how intense this year can be, with both written exams and PACES looming ahead—especially with O&G making up such a big part of the content. I know how valuable structured support, good revision resources, and practice sessions can be, and I want to make sure that every fifth-year student feels prepared and confident for their exams.
If elected, I’ll work to expand and refine the society’s tutorials and mock PACES sessions, making sure they’re tailored to what we actually need for the exams. I’ll also push for more revision-focused events, including case-based discussions, high-yield teaching sessions, and practical OSCE practice, so that everyone has the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge and skills. Most importantly, I want to make sure that no one feels lost or overwhelmed when it comes to tackling O&G in Year 5—whether that’s through more accessible resources, mentorship opportunities, or just making it easier to reach out for help.
I’d love the opportunity to support my fellow Year 5s and make sure they all get through this year feeling prepared, supported, and maybe even excited about O&G!
