Hi everyone! I’m Subanu, and I’m running with Vanathi to be your ICOGS Conference Co-Chairs for next year :))

O&G has been my passion since the start of medical school, and ICOGS has really shaped that journey; from tutorials to journal clubs and past conferences, this lovely community has given me invaluable opportunities to gain more exposure to the specialty and feel inspired in my medical career.

That’s exactly what Vanathi and I want to continue—building on this success to curate an event that truly showcases everything O&G has to offer. What better way to do that than by leading next year’s ICOGS conference, that has consistently been the highlight of our year!

We bring strong leadership experience to deliver a well-organised, high-quality event. As subcommittee head for my local Tamil charity, I’ve led fundraising and alumnae events, gaining hands-on experience in sponsorships, networking, and team management. Balancing extracurriculars like boxing with external projects has strengthened my ability to plan, meet deadlines, and work under pressure—all crucial for organising a large-scale event.

Vanathi and I are committed to:

• Expanding outreach to engage as many students as possible
• Delivering unique, high-quality workshops accessible to all year groups
• Highlighting cutting-edge research in women’s health with a Femtech-focused workshop
