Mark Morgan

Hi! I'm Mark and I'm a third year!

I am excited to be running for Cardiovascular Head of Outreach this year to further my passion for cardiology and contribute to this incredible society. Having completed multiple cardiology placements during medical school, I have developed a strong interest in the specialty and would love to take this further by playing an active role in the society! Having attended conferences and the cardio connect event this year, I have gained a valuable insight into the society’s impact, and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing how the committee collaborates to organise such engaging events.

As Head of Outreach, I am committed to help with managing correspondences and supporting members of our society. I plan to work closely with the other members of the committee throughout the year to ensure all events run smoothly and to help assist with other member's roles during the year.

I have found cardiology as a specialty to be so fascinating due to its wide scope and variety of conditions, and am hopeful of becoming involved in cardiovascular research within the next few years as I know I will really enjoy it. Having developed great teamwork, communication and time management skills during my time at medical school so far, I am confident I will be a valuable addition to the committee. I am committed to work hard throughout my role and help the society continue to thrive. Thanks!
