Aryan Ganesan

I'm Aryan, a 2nd year medic, and I am excited to apply for the position of Head of Outreach for the Cardiovascular society. I have a strong passion for Cardiology and so would love to not just attend the Cardio events but also play an active role in organising them and so meet new people who share this passion with me. With experience as Social Captain for ICSM Badminton, I have learned how committees operate as well as how much commitment and cooperation is needed to make events a success. Through my roles I have honed my skills in event organisation, teamwork and engagement- qualities I believe are essential for this role. Coordinating weekly sessions and managing event logistics in Badminton have given me valuable experience in bringing people together and ensuring events are well-planned and go smoothly.

As Head of Outreach I will focus on expanding our network and reach by collaborating with other Imperial/non-Imperial societies and external organisations. I also aim to improve engagement through interactive events like the Cardiology Conference, networking opportunities and partnerships with professionals in Cardiology.

My organisational and networking skills, coupled with my ability to engage diverse groups, make me well-suited for this role. I am very passionate about this society and would be honoured to contribute my enthusiasm and experience to this committee.
