Hi, I am Suraubi and I am running for the position of Cardio Bsc representative. The Cardiology Bsc is an intense and exceptional programme that delves into the depth of cardiovascular innovation and research. As your representative, I aim to represent Cardio Bsc students to ensure that your ideas, concerns and expectations are fulfilled and are communicated effectively to faculty.

My ideas:

• Providing students with an introductory tutorial into the Bsc and what it entails as the transition from Year 3 to Year 4 is a huge one!
• Providing tutorials for students to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge required for the 3 modules covered in the Bsc (from data management & interpretation to case report poster & oral presentation to finally writing the project in the form of a research paper)
• Cardiology journal club to facilitate regular discussions on student-focussed Bsc topics and project titles
• A mentorship scheme for students to ensure they have appropriate support and guidance whilst navigating through the year
• Finally, encouraging all students to engage in cardiovascular research early on as cardiology is at the forefront of medical innovation and will always continue to shape the future of medicine

If elected as your Cardio Bsc representative, I will strive to ensure that your Bsc experience is a pleasant and enjoyable experience, entailing numerous opportunities for support whilst engaging with top professionals in the field.
