MedTech: President

I am Muizz and I would be honoured to work for you as MedTech President. I aim to provide students with opportunities to experience MedTech, encourage innovation, and connect them with start-ups.

I have a strong foundation in technology, strategy, and leadership, having placed 2nd in a Digital Health Hackathon, where our app is being considered for further development. As an Associate Consultant at Headstart Global, I have managed strategic partnerships and client relationships using CRM tools, effectively engaging key stakeholders to drive business growth. My experience as a Doctorpreneurs Subcommittee Member has strengthened my ability to organise impactful workshops. Additionally, as Secretary for Pakistani Society and PotMed Intensive Lead for Muslim Medics, I have successfully delivered large-scale events, including the PotMed Conference, which achieved a record-breaking attendance of over 170 aspiring medical students.

If elected, I will introduce:

✅ Startup Careers Fair – In partnership with RedWood Founders, this fair will provide students with networking opportunities, internships, and exposure to start-ups, offering valuable industry connections and career insights.
✅ Monthly Panel Talks & Workshops – A structured series featuring industry leaders and entrepreneurs, covering emerging trends, career pathways, and opportunities in MedTech.
✅ Online Speaker Series – Virtual sessions with experts offering guidance on breaking into MedTech, sharing career advice, and practical tips.
✅ Coding Course – Designed to equip students with essential programming skills and help students build technical expertise for future innovation.
