Salma Edrees

Hi everyone! I’m Salma, a third year medical student, and I would love to be your Treasurer next year!

I have always had a strong interest in medical humanities, having studied both Philosophy and Ethics and History in school, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Most of all I enjoy combining my passion for medicine with my deep appreciation for the humanities, and I love how the Medical Humanities Society brings these discussions to life.

I am eager to take on the role of Treasurer because I am highly organised, detail-oriented and responsible, and would be committed to managing the society’s finances efficiently to ensure that we have the resources needed to be able to grow and fulfil our goals.
