My name is Maliha, and I'm in my third year. I am currently the vice president of the Materials Society, and I want the sponsorship role because I am quite good at making connections with companies. Right now, I'm in touch with Rolls-Royce for some exciting things currently in the works, as well as some other companies I am also planning some things with. Long story short, by voting for me, I can use my connections to bring sponsors and opportunities, and I will build more connections to bring more sponsors and more oppertunities. By connections, I literally mean stalking, emailing, and spamming. The more sponsors we have, the cheaper events we have basically. I am determined to get more sponsors from a range of industries, not just materials-based ones. It would be sick if we had a food company sponsor us (I love free food lmao).
