Hari Prabhu
Hello everyone! I’m Hari, a third-year medical student, and I am excited to run for Acute Care Conference Chair.
With my experience in event organisation, leadership, and teamwork, I am confident in my ability to deliver a high-quality, engaging conference. I have taken on multiple different roles, including:
-
Deputy BMA Representative – Developed effective communication and participated in the annual BMA Medical Student Conference, giving me an insight into how professional conferences run.
-
Secretary of Indian Society & SORA – Where I was managing logistics and helping coordinating events. As part of SORA I chaired an intercalated PhD conference and gained experience with organising conferences.
-
Young Enterprise Scheme Leader – Leading my team to win the Best Journey Award, developing my leadership skills.
These roles have sharpened my ability to plan and execute large-scale events efficiently. If elected, I will:
-
Make sure we have high quality speakers who can deliver interesting and insightful talks
-
Promote collaboration among students, clinicians, and researchers, and provide networking opportunities for Acute Care Society members through the conference.
-
Organise the conference to the best of my ability to ensure it runs smoothly, taking into account if there are any speakers or topics that Acute Care Society members are interested in.
I am dedicated to making this conference a success. Thank you for your support!
