Hi! I’m Daniel, and I am running for Vice Chair of Gastroenterology & Hepatology Society!

During my third year, I have had a gastroenterology medicine and general surgery placement, which sparked my interest in gastroenterology. As current ICSM Endocrinology Co-President, I gained experience in managing a team, task delegation, and collaboratively working with others to host a conference, and will use these skills to approach my goals as Vice Chair:

• Coordinate with the education officer, and events officer, to produce a tutorial series for years 1-3 for gastroenterology. Having done tutorials for ICSM Cardiovascular Society and MedEd, I feel confident in assisting with teaching.
• Support the Co-Chair and Chair in running the society.
• Assist in organising the conference, reaching out to speakers, as well as providing new events such as a guest speaker series led by established gastroenterologists.
