Grace Ong

Hello ladies!

I am Grace Ong, a second year Biomedical Engineering student, and I am running for head of internal/alumni relations this year!

My experience as a member of Women in Business has been nothing but pleasurable enlightenment! I particularly enjoyed speaking with the impressive and powerful women in the business world, many of whom are our very own alumni, gaining so much first-hand industrial insights from them, building strong rapports with them, and even having the privilege to visit offices where they work.

I deeply appreciate these valuable opportunities I had. I am determined to continue to maintain these strong relationships we share with our alumni and to grow our network as a society, to grant more women access to the exclusive insights in the business world and bring about more opportunities to inspire women to pursue a career in business. I aim to leverage the interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills I gained as a marketing and communications (MARCOMM) intern to establish strong bonds with the inspiring women in the industry and optimise communications between our society and these role models.

I look forward to working with other talented women to strive to make a difference in empowering women in business!
