Hi everyone! I’m Antonia, a second-year Medical Biosciences student.
Throughout my journey at Imperial, I’ve worked hard to develop my leadership, networking, and event-planning skills—making me well-suited for this role.
- As Media & Publicity Officer at FemTech, I’ve created promotional content and worked closely with the events team to run successful initiatives.
- My experience at Queen’s Tower Capital and Imperial Consulting Group has strengthened my ability to connect with professionals, secure sponsorships, and develop structured outreach strategies.
- Additionally, as previous Head Girl and Head of Charity I led diverse teams and execute impactful events
My Vision: Supporting Women in Their Careers
I want to make WIB the go-to society for young women navigating their careers. Having struggled with limited guidance in first year and unaware of opportunities like spring weeks, career planning can be overwhelming. My mission is to ensure younger students gain early exposure to career opportunities, empowering them to pursue their ambitions with confidence.
My Plans for WIB:
- Industry Insight Panels – Hear from industry professionals on the future of their respective industry (shaping trends, challenges and impact of new tech etc.)
- Empowerment Through Wellness & Networking Socials – Aerial yoga, candlemaking class, and wellness workshops to foster connections
- Career Bootcamps & Hackathons – Targeting students looking to apply for springs/summers/graduates, covering everything from CVs, cover letters, to interviews and public-speaking bootcamps + assessment centre simulations.
- Networking Sessions – Office visits, speed-dating networking with alumni
- London WIB Networking Series – Conferences with other WIB Societies, joint charity ball
