Hey everyone! My name is Dhyey and I would love to be VP (Industry) for EESoc next year. As this year's EESoc secretary I've enjoyed organising events like our Flagship event at the Shard, and supporting the industry team organise our annual careers fair and careers talks. This experience has helped me understand the importance of our industry team in creating opportunities for students and securing funding that makes our society's events possible.
Some of my priorities as VP (Industry) would include:
- Securing more sponsors to bring career opportunities to EESoc members
- Organising industry events beyond just careers talks, such as hackathons and workshops
- Increasing sponsorship funding to support more student-led projects and initiatives
