My name is Adam, and I would be priveliged to work for you as Algorithmic Trading Society President.
As an incoming Markets Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan and with previous industry experience as a Markets Summer Analyst at Citigroup I believe I am well-placed to lead a successful year for the society.
You may have seen me previously at the Investment Society as Lead Lecturer for the Securities Education Certificate. Here I led a team to deliver the course designed to prepare students with the knowledge required to enter the financial industry. With 950+ students enrolling in the course during my tenure, I aim to use this educational expertise and knowledge of how a large society operates to benefit this society.
Through my years as a member of this society I feel there are some aspects that need improving and would like to focus on the following:
- Restructuring the AlgoCourse, focusing on helping you acquire the skills and knowledge that employers seek.
- Expanding the scope of Women in Trading and their events.
- Running application workshops with an emphasis on improving interview performance.
- Organising a greater number and variety of events, enabling you to showcase your skills.
I will utilise my industry connections and experience to ensure the society provides the most value to its members. I am also committed to ensuring all members benefit from being part of the society and most importantly, have a lot of fun.
