I would really love to be fixtures sec next season as I want to be more involved in the hockey club and learn more about how it functions, and I know that I will really enjoy this role. Organisation and administration are two areas I have a lot of experience in, as I was managing director for my young enterprise company meaning I was always organising selling opportunities, liaising with team members and event managers, as well as communicating regularly with our managing tutor and enterprise organisation. Therefore I'm used to handling administrative tasks like booking events and communicating quickly and efficiently. I'm also really interested in learning more about how the hockey club functions, and I know that this role, whilst being something I would enjoy, would enable me to get an in-depth look behind the scenes.

Some of the things I would do include publishing a spreadsheet of all the fixtures planned, including timings and locations if possible so that players and captains can plan ahead. On this, players could also highlight whether or not they are available, making it easier for captains to organise teams.

Overall, I have absolutely adored my time at the hockey club so far and would really love the opportunity to contribute to the society that has given me so much joy and so many new friends, and I feel that this is the role that I am best suited to and the best way I can give back to this incredible club.
