Sajid Zaman
Acute Care Specialities : Emergency Medicine Lead
Hi everyone,
I’m Sajid Zaman, and I’m running for Emergency Medicine Lead! With extensive experience in event planning, leadership, and teaching, I have the skills and commitment to enhance learning and engagement around Emergency Medicine.
Over the past two years, I’ve taken on multiple responsibilities across different societies and charities:
- ISoc Brother’s Events Officer – Led multiple speaker events and Fresher’s Fortnight.
- BSoc MAA Month Subcommittee – Assisted in running a successful charity campaign.
- BADG Environmental Care Co-Head – Organised a community volunteer event.
- ISoc Fresher Rep – Helped events run smoothly while learning committee operations.
- Reformation Charity Volunteer – Gained hands-on experience in community engagement.
- Basic Life Support Instructor – Taught essential life-saving skills at WLICC with Muslim Medics.
Beyond this, I have a strong teaching background. At Explore Learning, I tutored up to six children at a time, quickly adapting to leading 11+ sessions. I also tutor GCSE Maths and Chemistry, refining my ability to break down complex ideas and engage effectively.
If elected, I will:
- Organise engaging, high-quality events to enhance understanding of Emergency Medicine.
- Ensure well-structured and accessible sessions, making learning interactive and beneficial.
- Promote inclusivity and encourage participation, so everyone feels involved.
I’m excited about this role and committed to delivering impactful, insightful events—I’d love your vote!
Thank you!
