Ian Chan
Pharmacology is at the heart of modern medicine, yet many students struggle to connect it to clinical practice. As Assistant Vice President, I aim to bridge this gap by making pharmacology more accessible, engaging, and clinically relevant.
With four years of experience as an educator and a background in leadership and research, I have the skills to support our society’s growth. My work as an intern for the European Union's Hi-Prix Project has strengthened my understanding of pharmacology’s impact on patient care and medical innovation.
If elected, I will:
- Enhance educational events by organizing interactive lectures, revision sessions, and clinical case discussions.
- Strengthen career support through networking opportunities, career panels, and mentorship with pharmacology professionals.
- Encourage research and innovation by promoting research opportunities and workshops for students.
- Increase engagement by expanding social media content, quizzes, and outreach to make learning more interactive.
I am dedicated to strengthening pharmacology society’s role in education, career development, and student engagement. Vote Ian Chan for Assistant Vice President – let’s make pharmacology more exciting and clinically relevant.
