Hey everyone!

We’re Jack and Yujin, and we are both second year Civil Engineering students co-running for Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations.

Having been through the recruiting process ourselves, we are fully aware of the importance of developing a strong network. Investment Society has helped us acquire new experiences and develop our professional network. As such, we want to give back to the community by cultivating your network.

As members of QT Capital, we are highly involved in Investment Society and are well acquainted with the current Heads of Corporate Relations. By maintaining strong communication with them, we hope to ensure a smooth transition that retains current networks. Having secured spring weeks at different investment banks, we can also leverage this to form new relationships that strengthen the society’s networks and, by extension, yours.

As Co-Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations:

• We want to know what YOU want. We aim to gather regular feedback through surveys to identify firms and areas of finance that members want greater exposure in

• We pledge to increase the frequency of networking events to ensure that you have the opportunity to expand your connections

• We intend to utilise the strong Imperial alumni network, especially through increasing collaboration with IYP, to build a stronger presence in sell-side firms

• We hope to host small-group networking dinners that allow you to connect with firms on a more personal level
