Jack Kwok

Hi everyone!

My name is Jack. I am a second-year Civil Engineering student, and I am currently the Sector Head for the Industrials team at QT Capital. I first joined QT Capital as an analyst in my first year, where I was part of the winning team for QT Capital's Stock Pitch Competition and represented Imperial for McGill’s 2024 Global Stock Pitch Competition.

These opportunities have helped me develop my financial knowledge and awareness. Just as Investment Society has helped me, I hope to contribute by expanding the opportunities that are available to members. With my experiences as both an analyst and sector head, I can leverage my unique perspectives to identify areas of improvement for QT Capital.

As Head of Portfolio Management, I will aim to improve current processes by:

• Improve Transparency: Ensure that analysts are updated with current happenings and future plans for the fund. This will enhance communication between members and give analysts a sense of direction

• Training Sessions: Organise dedicated training sessions for analysts that teach valuation skills and financial modelling, providing a solid foundation that analysts can build upon

• Insight Events: Leverage my network to invite industry professionals and alumni to share their investing insights, offering networking opportunities for analysts

• Stock Pitch Competitions: Work together with other student funds across different universities to host stock pitch competitions
