Who I Am

I’m Shawn, a DE3 student with plenty of involvement in many societies throughout my time at Imperial. I have attended over 8+ hackathons/Makeathon. (some good & some bad) I intend to give Design Engineering students an annual makathon to look forward to. (Like IC Hack). My involvement with university students include: unilocker.co.uk, director of partnerships at Google Student Developer Club and Malaysian/Singaporean Soc Music Team.

Why I’m Running

• Empower Every Student – Whether you're a first-time builder or a seasoned hacker, I’ll ensure you have the tools, mentorship, and support needed to make something real.
• Bridge Tech & Business – I understand the intersection of technical feasibility and business viability. Ensuring projects don’t just stay on paper but have the potential to become real-world startups.
• Streamline the Process – I’ll optimise the workflow, from team formation to project submission by using software solutions - taking inspiration from previous hackathons.
