Hi everyone! I'm Varen, a 1st Year Medic.
Although a 1st Year, I am no stranger to running events, collaborations and crucially for this role, networking. As a Committee Member at my school, I was tasked with running 3 separate conference days with other schools - including emailing and coordinating with other schools that we'd never worked with before.
I also ran an award-winning business during school which was successful in securing denim supplies for free from notable companes such as Matalan and Nudie Jeans. I believe these skills will be valuable for the role of sponsorships officer and I look forward to fostering more relationships with our current sponsors and even developing new sponsor relations.
I hope to achieve this in 2 ways, Networking and Collaboration:
1. I will personally network as much as I can and aim to bring in new sponsors who can enrich and benefit the society as much as possible. By fostering these relations, I hope to bring in sponsors who will hopefully be on board for years to come.
2. Collaboration with sponsors in a mutually beneficial way is the key to not only securing sponsors, but sponsors thart stick around. So I will strive to collaborate and aim to promote our sponsors, mutually driving our own engagement up too!
