I think I’d be a great fit for the role of Publicity Officer/ Social Media as I am a creative person. I’ve been doing art at the Royal Drawing school for around 10 years, and had an art scholarship at school, so would love to get involved in all aspects of publicity, whether that be the creative aspect such as graphic design, or the logistical – such as distributing promotional materials of events.
As subcommittee this year I have seen the behind the scenes of how a successful conference is run and I would love to showcase this more on the socials to expand iPRAS outreach – by creating more dynamic promotional content, such as behind the scene clips and event highlight videos – so everyone comes to appreciate the efforts of the team e.t.c as much as I have come to. Also, this has given me familiarity with iPRAS branding and goals – so I would be ready to tailor social media and promotion to best reflect the right audience.
I also have experience running Instagram accounts as I ran my schools medicine and art society’s intagram and am confident I could increase engagement and maintain/ upkeep the aesthetics and professionalism of the account.
