I am excited to apply for the role of events lead for the MedTech Society, where I hope to organise engaging workshops and speaker series. With a strong interest in medical technology and a passion for creating well-structured events, I am eager to contribute to the society’s success.

Currently, I am taking a research computing module, learning to code in Python and use libraries such as NumPy. This has deepened my interest in the computational side of MedTech, particularly in health data analysis, biomedical simulations, and AI applications in medicine. I would love to bring this perspective to the society by organising coding workshops and inviting speakers who work at the intersection of medicine and technology.

Additionally, my experience working in adminstration for nearly three years has strengthened my ability to plan and manage events efficiently. Working in a fast-paced environment has helped me develop strong organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication—key qualities for ensuring successful events.

If elected, I will focus on curating a diverse range of workshops and speaker series that are well-organised, accessible, and valuable to society members. By applying my experience and enthusiasm, I aim to make MedTech Society events engaging, informative, and memorable.
