I’m interested in the Events Lead role for MedTech Society, as my skills and experience align well with the position's responsibilities.

As National Conference Chair of ICSM SORA, I have gained valuable experience planning and executing successful conferences, including speaker outreach, event proposals and logistics. I’m confident in my ability to collaborate with the team and find solutions to last-minute issues, such as organising Q&A panels or neuroimaging lectures.

As Regional Lead and University Ambassador for a National Neurology Society, I've developed strong organisational, teamwork, and leadership skills, managing communications, promoting events, and building connections with experts. Through their mentorship program, I’ve expanded my network, which I can leverage to secure potential speakers who will add great value to the events.

My role as HSoc Publicity Officer strengthened my event promotion and management skills, driving record attendance, which I will apply to attract potential speakers for MedTech events. As DermSoc Secretary, I know the importance of clear and timely communication, ensuring a smooth conference experience, which I will bring to this role.

Ideas I’d like to introduce include in the teaching series include modules on 'MedTech Entrepreneurship', 'Cybersecurity in MedTech,' and more (depending on attendee preference), as well as a library of videos and resources on essential skills and workshop demonstrations accessible to all attendees.
