Rishi Miriyala

Hi! My name's Rishi and I'm running for UAEM Lead!

Those of you who know me are aware that I'm currently the National President for UAEM (Universities Allied for Essential Medicines). I've been involved in a range of events, including the National Training Weekend, Access to Medicines Week and collaborations with UAEM Europe and the WHO Collaborating Centre. I'm also the longest standing member of committee for Students for Global Health and am well-versed on the society activities. (Social Media 2022/23, Treasurer 2023/24, UAEM Lead 2024/25)

I'd love to stay on committee next year, building up UAEM even further. Despite potentially having the experience to lead SfGH, I've found my niche in global health through UAEM as access to medicines, and am passionate to bring this to more students at Imperial.
