Hi friends, I'm Oscar - you might know me from thursday night magic? I'd love to be your head of magic next year!

We're really good at showing up on Thursdays and playing commander, which is great. I want to run more and more consistent events. Magic is also expensive and that sucks! The more we can do as a society to make magic accessible to new and current players the better.

Ideas for events:

• More drafts: it feels like we've had ~1 draft a term and I want to offer more! (within budget of course, but several members have their own boxes they want to open so using that)
• BYOB (that's Bring Your Own Boosters of course): chaos draft which is free if you bring 3 boosters, standard subsidised draft price otherwise.
• Sealed/constructed leagues: prized likely round robin leagues which are played when convenient over several weeks.

All of this and whatever we come up with together will likely form part of a rotating schedule of events on Thursday evenings.

Am I a little biased? Yes! But things like limited need more active support from the head of magic to work (because events need to be consistent to be popular!) and I want to provide that, without infringing on your insatiable desire to play commander. We'll do this together :)
