Hi everyone!

My name is Vedant, and I’m running to be Treasurer for the Lifestyle Medicine and Prevention Society (LMAP) next year!

Lifestyle and preventive medicine are essential pillars of modern healthcare, focusing on addressing the root causes of disease and improving long-term health outcomes. I would love the opportunity to help grow this society and ensure it has the funding to provide engaging events, educational opportunities, and hands-on workshops for students interested in this vital field.

As Treasurer, I would be responsible for managing the society’s finances, securing sponsorships, and ensuring financial transparency to support its growth. I have strong leadership and organisational skills from being cricket captain for my local team, along with experience in budgeting and resource management, making me well-suited for this role.

If elected, I will work to:

✅ Ensure financial sustainability so the society can continue to grow.
✅ Help organise accessible and well-funded activities for members.
