Hi! I am Suraubi and I am running for secretary of LMAP society this year! I strongly believe that 21^st century medicine is steering towards an approach that requires adequate lifestyle approaches to preventing and managing disease. Although repeatedly proven to be effective in preventing medical conditions, lifestyle changes are often underemphasised, and I believe this needs to change

My experience:

• As founder of First Aid society in sixth form I have had multiple opportunities to interact with team members and student members
• I will serve as a liaison between members ensuring that information is shared between the team and everyone’s voice is heard. Clear and transparent communication is the key for any society to thrive and I believe I am equipped to achieve this.
• My passion; I strive to achieve best medical practice through preventable measures and hope to use this society as my first step to success!

My vision as secretory:

• Ensuring efficient communication and administration by maintaining clear and organised records of committee meetings/ society activities
• Timely email updates to keep LMAP committee members informed
• Act as a key point of contact between medical students and committee members
• Work effectively with the team to increase engagement through active communication and structured planning
• Ensure an effective handover process for LMAP society 2026-2027!

As future healthcare professionals, lets aim to prevent disease before onset!
