Gangah Sivapooranan

Hi, my name is Gangah, and I'm a third-year medical student with a strong interest in gastroenterology and hepatology. I believe this society is an incredible platform for students to connect with these specialties, and I'm excited to run for Event Officer to help create memorable and impactful events.

Through my experiences with event planning, including working on the Doctorpreneurs subcommittee where I focus on marketing and sponsorships, I’ve developed skills in organising successful events that engage and inspire attendees. As Event Officer, I will work to bring diverse, high-quality events to our society, from guest lectures and networking opportunities to hands-on workshops and social gatherings.

My goal is to ensure that every event is meaningful and accessible, creating opportunities for members to learn, connect, and grow. I will work closely with the committee to plan engaging events that cater to a range of interests within gastroenterology and hepatology. I will also be proactive in securing sponsorships and collaborations to enhance our events and keep costs low.

If elected, I will ensure that your feedback and ideas are heard, helping to shape an events calendar that truly benefits all members.
