Lifestyle Medicine and Prevention : Education Officer

Hello Everyone! I am Amna, a second year medical student and I’m running for the LMAP Education Officer to enhance accessibility, student support and most importantly academic resources. Having thoroughly enjoyed studying LMAP over the past two years, I appreciate its amazing and engaging content - but I also recognise the challenges that can sometimes hinder the full experience of this fulfilling course.

As Education Officer, I will focus on collaborative learning, student-led initiatives and academic support to:

Support students in understanding key LMAP principles with peer mentoring program
Introduce insightful discussions on lifestyle medicine
Introduce feedback systems to assess engagement and continuously improve resources

My passion for public health, preventative medicine and behavioural change motivates me to make LMAP concepts more accessible and relevant for everyone
