Climate Entrepreneurs: Events Manager

Hi everyone!

I’m Yuxin, a second-year chemistry student, and I’m excited to be running for Event Manager of Climate Entrepreneurs Club!

As a chemistry student passionate about climate change and sustainability, I want to help grow CEC’s impact by organising engaging, high-value events that connect students with industry leaders and opportunities in climate tech.

As Events Manager, I will:

🌱 Elevate our flagship event – the Climate Pre-Accelerator Program – by:

Securing more mentors and sponsors from climate tech startups, industry leaders, and Imperial academics.
Organising optional workshops for participants with no prior experience, empowering all to develop their ideas.
Expanding publicity efforts to reach more students across Imperial and encourage diverse participation.

🔗 Organise more frequent career fairs to bridge students with sponsors and climate startups, providing more internship and networking opportunities.

I’m deeply committed to CEC’s mission and would love the opportunity to help grow our community and impact.
